Call to Arms

  1. The middle class ticket paying passenger has endured the brunt of our airline's financial distress.
  2. Governmental monitoring through ur tax funded Federal Aviation Administration is supposed to balance passenger travel conditions and the tendency of corporations for financial gain.
  3. Many travel related web sites describe details about seat pitch, air-flow contamination, long flight DVT risks, air-travel unetiquette of neighboring passengers, cell phone chatter, and much more.
  4. Ultimately, the FAA is supposed to protect us from all these issues. In the meantime, larger sized passengers are being forced into smaller sized seats with less personal space. Larger size people usually produce more expired carbon dioxide. Sometimes the air-cabin is ventilated during certain operational periods.....and sometimes it's not.
  5. Human beings require an evolutionary need for protective personal space. Is this evolutionary spatial need encroached by modern day coach airline travel? Are too many passenger bodies packed into these smaller seats breathing various periods of fluctuating air-cabin ventilation?
  6. Where is the FAA data that describes acceptable and psychologically healthy seat space requirements? Will the FAA continue to marginalize passenger spatial and air-flow ventilatory needs in order to satisfy the corporate needs of our airlines? Who is protecting the little middle class ticket paying passenger who can't afford to fly on new spatially resplendent aircraft? The working class passenger is cramped into a little seat space while the elite enjoy wider and wider aircraft.
